Mr. Jewel Das, Chairman and Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism and Media Studies, Port City International University, successfully participated in the 8th Communication and Journalism Educators' Network [ #8thCJEN ] conference hosted by Daffodil International University in collaboration with German Deutsche Welle Akademie (DW Akademie) on 28-29 October, 2023. Mr. Robin Das Gupta, a student of the journalism department, also attended in the networking conference. As part of the conference, he also participated in a student workshop on social media storytelling. Engagement in the event has further increased the media studies related knowledge and skills of the participant educator and student of the department.
