Mr.  Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman, Department of Civil Engineering, PCIU along with the permanent faculty members of the respective department recently attended a seminar on "Updates of ACI 318-319: Effects on building construction practices"  organised by BSRM group at Radisson Blu Chittagong on October 23, 2019. Dr.  Mohammad Rafiqul Alam, Vice Chancellor, CUET & President,  Institution of Engineers Bangladesh graced the occasion as Chief guest and  Dr.  Abdur Rahman Bhuiyan, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, CUET was the keynote speaker of the seminar.  The seminar also comprised of a talk show on “Construction Practices” in participation of Prof. Dr.  Md. Jahangir Alam,  Vice Chancellor,  University of Science & Technology Chittagong ; Mohammad Ali Ashraf,  Pro-Vice Chancellor, Department of Civil Engineering,  Southern University Bangladesh ; Prof. Dr.  Sudip Kumar Pal, Head, Department of Civil Engineering, CUET. Top ranked Civil Engineers from different Govt. & Private organizations as well as renowned academicians from CUET and other private universities across Chittagong were present on that event.
